Thank you!
I figured they'd be the perfect people to bring back (especially since they weren't even named)

scary. it is strange kind of irony that the very creatures that destroyed jack's life on boeshane now hold the to ianto's life.

A really nice chapter, things are moving faster, this is nice to see Jack talking to a new character. Moreover, I am happy to see he is fighting against melancholia and sadness, and grips to the fact Ianto will be coming back soon if he just reaches what he wants. So many times I wanted to kick Jack's ass because he was just SO slow (I mean, I know how hard it is to lose someone we really love, but life keeps going too, and after all the tears, we have to stand up again and fight.)

Keep going this wonderful fic !

Yeah, I wanted this to be slowly paced because it does (in my head at least) take place during the 6 months he's gone. So the first few chapters show just how annoying and frustrating it is to keep running into dead ends...
Finding the breath is like finding a needle in the Western Hemisphere, not a haystack, y'know?

just read all of this fic so far in one shot and I'm completely hooked (and reinspired to finish my own fix-it fic). you really make us feel jack's pain in the beginning, and I think that this is how Jack would react to someone new after ianto's death, especially now that he has a goal that he is so focused on. can't wait for the next part :)

one thing: I think the longer it takes for Jack to bring Ianto back (at least according to his timeline, for jack it could be years but with his wrist strap he could return the day after he left) the less feasible it is to bring ianto back. at some point would he just wan't to stay dead? (I don't know. I'm rambling, I'm sorry)

Do you mean at some point he'd want to give up? or did you mean Ianto would want to stay dead? I'm a bit confused at the way you worded it.

Well, for Jack, he has nothing but time. 6 months isn't much at all, especially when he's so focussed on a goal. He's very persistent. I mean, look at how he reacted to Owen's death? He ignored everyone and went after that glove even though if he was thinking clearly that wouldn't have been very smart. Jack doesn't use logic in situations like that and now it's Ianto, he's certainly not going to react too logically either.

I'm glad it's made you want t finish your own fix-it. =] Thanks for liking it. I'll be updating soon.

sorry for the late reply, I meant that Ianto might not want to come back. (I've been reading a lot of books with dead people not staying dead or not really being dead in the first place so its really been on my mind lately)
