Oh My God, Ray! You killed me with that I love you line! Killed me. I wasn't expecting that, but once I read it, it was just perfect. It was the perfect thing to send Blaine running. Kurt meant it as a comfort, but in his warped state it only made him hate himself more and think he doesn't deserve it, so of course he would lock himself in the basement.

a couple of house keeping things, there's some formatting issues right at the beginning you might want to fix and...

And through it all, passed the pain and the nastiness in his head I'm fairly sure that it should be past and not passed. i think. it just looks wrong. :)

As for thewhipencouragement, I'll stand by your side continually, whip in hand till you get this story finished. :) And I am writing my own actually. I was feeling well enough today that i was able to write a little on one of the stories. Oh my God, it's so jossed I just...there's no fixing it at this point. lol.

The "I love you" was perfect, and it's so sad that Blaine is in no state to accept it. The people you love aren't a burden, but it's hard to imagine that when you've never been loved.
