Percy is thoughtfully contemplating the walnut trees, which are flowering now white and beautiful. After a long while he climbs halfway up one, catches a bunch of the flowers, and then heads back to the house

Cimorene is spread out at the table, looking through a rather large cookbook she borrowed from the Mansion, chewing absently on her pinky nail as she reads. She looks up with a wry smile as he enters, though it softens just a hair at seeing the flowers.

"Hey!" He lays the flowers out on the table, over top of the cookbook.

She grins. "We can't eat them. But they're lovely. What's the occasion?"
