I'm trying to keep away from using it as a self-promotion platform. I'm looking for reviews, social commentary, short fiction or poetry pieces...I'm shit at those last two but I'm also kind of out of the loop in terms of social, political and world affairs right now and have already reviewed everything I considered to be of note over the past month.

It isn't the resolutions that matter - it's the resolve to do them.

You could talk to some of the lyricists in the school, maybe? See about publishing their songs, or even promote their work for musicians to collaborate with them?
