I love the contrast between the opening paragraph - the descent of the leaf, which is quite beautiful, and Remus' feelings about Sirius. The falling leaf made Remus want to retch is fantastic here - you've created this soft, ethereal autumn glow and then followed it up with this tang of bitterness that just makes my heart ache for Remus.
