I made a Mr. Belvedere reference in counseling this morning to someone born in 1990.

She stared at me.  Then told me she would Wiki him when she got home.

So, needless to say, I need a "compassionate, caring father-figure" pop culture reference update.

Problem is: I can't think of anyone.  So, um, HELP?
