I saw Franz Ferdinand last night. It was a blast, the whole little mass of dance floor bouncing up and down and singing along. Didn't expect some of the song line-up, but it was nice to hear "Tell Her Tonight" and "40'" in there. And of course "Lucid Dreams" in all its maddening glory. You know, I was very calm (believe it or not) during both the concert and meet 'n greet. I think I was more jittery when I met Tim Burton randomly... but goodness, they were the absolute best live! Whenever they come back here I'm going to have to do it all over again.

*squeals* That's so awesome Nik! I'm so glad you had a great time at the show and got to meet Nick. The "cool name" thing is adorable. Then again, most things Nick does is adorable. ;)

And yeah, Nick is definitely giving Alex a run for it in my 'favorite musicians' list now, haha! Btw, there was a Bob fan in line behind me, and she was ecstatic; she made me think of you. ;)

Nick is just so talented and adorkable. I must admit that I didn't really notice him much when I first got into the band but he's grown on me. ;)
