Angel families have to be so strange, what with the bizarre potential age differences and the fact that none of them seem to stay together except for, like, the Barnams and Karu's weird dynastic ...thing. And archangels especially seeming to be something more of a solitary breed...

Angel families seem to be completely fucked up, as a rule. Part of it probably has to do with the fact that half of all angels seem to fail at any sort of parental instinct - we've got tons of demons who are better parents than almost any angel we know of (except maybe Charlie). ...How does this happen?
