That's a lovely rendition of the oft-told "Woman Wept" tale. I always like it when Jack's with them. This feels warm and wonderful and very much *them*.

Thank you very much! I always forget how much I love them until I write something or watch the episodes with the three of them, and then OH, I miss them being together so much.

Oh that is adorable and pretty, and I squeed so hard and... *flails*. THE ENDING. You are the master of endings that make me flail and spazz. Really. There's just... Something about it that gets me.

Yay for incoherent reviews again!

I almost didn't write that ending, actually. I think the abrupt shift in Doctors weirded me out. But I'm glad I did now, because making you spaz and flail makes me happy. *Grins* Yeah, my target audience pretty much consists of you, Rizzy and Evie. ♥

She never told anyone that Jack carried her to her room that night, the Doctor following protectively behind. That she grabbed Jack's hand after he set her down, before he could pull back, and refused to let him leave her just yet. That she pulled Jack down to lie beside her, and eventually convinced the Doctor to join them, on her other side. That she spent the night with her back pressed against Jack, his warmth at her back, her face pressed against the Doctor's chest, her palm flat against his cool skin.

I love this. My OT3 :)))

Hurt/comfort, my favourite variety of fic; especially when it's comfort of this sort, and with these characters. They really were a team, so close-knit and in tune with each other. Perfect!

(By the way, the only way I was able to read this - short of remembering the code for style-mine - was to highlight the text. The tiny pale [not white] text really doesn't show up well on black :( )

Thank you! (And gah. I keep meaning to check this layout on monitors that aren't mine, but always forget. Thanks for letting me know - I was starting to think I might need to change it anyway.)

That's lovely. I love the structure, the things unsaid, those things that were "theirs".

It's amazing how powerful their relationship was, given only about 4 episodes of screentime together, isn't it?

Thanks! That's one of the things that bothers me most about the new series - not NEARLY enough of the team all together at the same time. The TARDIS always seems so empty with just one companion!

Very nicely done, really beautiful. I would have liked to see it actually played out, but at the same time this was just beautifully done! Nice!
