I bought Middlesex (I'm a sucker for Oprah's bookclub!) but I haven't read it yet, it seems like it's slow at the beginning.

I didn't realize it was an Oprah pick... she's kind of off my radar these days! ;) If you find it slow at first, try and get through it a bit more. It's a fantastic book! It's one of those books that I find hard to put down and I finish it off within a few days.

It is indeed! It's been on my favorites list since it first came out a few years ago. I love both the personal story as well as the way historical events get weaved in...

How do you do that? I tend to be disorganized and forgetful everywhere these days. (It wasn't always this way, but I have no idea what happened.)

Ha ha! I'm not sure, to be honest. :) I think it's because any work environment is going to be more structured than what I could set up for myself at home. Too many distractions at home, I don't know which direction to go in! Also, at work I just have a little cubicle to keep organized. At home, it's rooms and rooms!

I am finding that the older I get, the more forgetful I become... which is kind of scary.
