I'm looking for a fic (I'm pretty sure it's a well known classic) where Arthur knows about Merlin's magic without Merlin's knowledge and works to protect his secret from Uther. The scene I recall is where something threatening is happening in the Great Hall and Merlin prepares to intervene with his magic when Arthur trips him so he won't publicly
