Ringnecks are one of my favorite birds. I miss having them around. When my husband got into green cheeks, we wound up giving ours to a friend - we had a pair of Blue Indian Ringnecks and a pair of Africans. The blues were quite friendly...the Africans were holy terrors...the male talked and he would lure people to his cage with his cute squeaky little "hi!"...just close enough to draw blood. Still it was kind of fun watching people who had never met him before getting sucked into his whole routine. Now the only bigger birds we have are two pairs of Rock Pebblers, which my husband understands are here for life. He has been warned :-)

Ringneck beaks look sharp and scary. Your Rock Pebblers seem sweet; I think that seeing the photos in your journal constitutes my first (virtual) encounter with that species, at least that I have noticed.
