I went to bed at a relatively decent hour last night, and because that hour was earlier than usual I didn't fall asleep quickly and had a bit of time for thinking and I dedicated that thinking to Sam and Dean and that was SO NICE because I haven't had some good Sam and Dean think time in a while and I'd missed them

When I woke up, I was like, That was a good one!! :P I also recently had a dream where I suddenly found I was babysitting the Padalecki children (I like kids but I've always avoided babysitting because it makes me super anxious) and they were misbehaving terribly and then Genevieve came home and chastised them and said they needed to listen to me. XD Thanks, Gen?

Oh man this is so perfect--the atmosphere, the encounter, the Sam (ugh my heart hearts now because I love him so). Even the weirdo sidewalk-without-road is perfect? I want this to be a cold open that's not actually attached to the rest of the episode and is never actually explained. Just left to haunt reality and make you wonder from where this moment slipped through. Also, Sam's delinquent sense of humor is ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS so I am especially glad it made it into this strange happening. <333333

It was one of those where not a ton happened, but it was verrrry atmospheric, which I enjoy, although it's hard to capture after the fact.
