This final research will be written through the prism of my personal experience with Tarot. Firsly, because I really wanted to include a personal touch to this part of the essay just to show why Maou’s Tarot was such a ( Read more... )

Thank you. Really... ♥

This particular part was a bit difficult to write because of personal perception of Tarot but, srsly, I'm so glad I did it!

Now this was extremely interesting to read and astonishing since I had absolutely no idea how much the tarot cards could "predict" the things that would eventually happen in the drama. I loved how to analyzed each card and its relevance to the story. ♥

Honestly, you changed my mind on tarot cards, and please write more about them when you have the time :D I might even buy a Tarot deck too because of you, thanks, btw ^.^

Diana! ♥

Well, of course it was a bit unfair since I knew the story already when interpreting the cards. I did mould it in a way so that it fits the events. But all of those are really the meanings the cards might have.

Only that for Judgement and Fortune it was the negative side of the meaning: generally, those are positive cards.

Oh really? ♥ Did I? That's great to hear! Oh and I will think of something then :) What would you like to know about Tarot?

Oh... :) Well then, you're welcome, I'd recommend a Rider-Waite to you too.

*huggles* And good luck to you once again!

I'd love to read anything about Tarot now :D The stories behind these cards, like the one above, are really interesting. O.O Didn't know the whole world behind them was this complex.

Reading this part of your review, I could finally see how deeply in love you are with Tarot cards and the reason why you are. :)) They are indeed fascinating, I admit my defense in front of their charm :D

Rider-Waite? Why not Stella's? They seem cuter ♥ :D

I might try to loosely translate an article from my book on "hero's journey" in Major Arcana cards, if you want :)

It is complex indeed! That's why I'm so very in love with the cards, as you noticed. Even after so many years they still have their power over me.

"Rider-Waite? Why not Stella's? They seem cuter ♥ :D"
Well, hmm... Good point :)) Well, probably the main reason is that Rider is just easier to get, I think, and easier to work with since there's a lot of literature on this deck. Also if you know any places or bookstores that might sell tarot, Rider deck will surely be there.

As for Stella, yes, they are a thousand times prettier, but to me at the moment, they are still difficult to work with because the only info I have is just a small booklet that comes with the cards. I know it's almost the same as the classical decks but... yes, it might be just that I worked with Rider for too long.

So.. indeed! Go for Stella if you decide to go for it :) I ordered my deck at Amazon, jsyk :)

*hugs*
