I have one. It's pretty idiot-proof, since he had the GameCube. You just plug stuff in.

Configuring it for wireless Internet may be well beyond Caboose, though.

(By the way, I'm sorry I sat out your Omegaboose plot, but I had RL beating me down at the time.)
