Yeah, normally I'd sneak in and change the spelling, but this is one of those places where I'm going to stand my ground. Faint is a verb which means to collapse, fall down, throw one's hand to forehead and moan as you crumple. Feint is a verb that, yes, means a defensive tectic, but implies a level of noncommitment. In the expression 'feint of heart', the implication is that the individual's courage is not where it should be, as in it is posing as one thing (a strongheart) when in reality it is not so committed.
Defensive tectic? What are you talking about? Who wrote defensive tectic? Not me, that's for sure. And I certainly didn't go back and change it. No, of course not. Because I didn't write defensive tectic. Not at all. Nope.
