I don't get to watch G4 anymore because they took it off our basic cable service here in Johnson City, but I still follow what's going on at the website. I love Sessler's Soapbox and look forward to it each week, but this one, I felt warranted sharing.

That was solidly spoken, and he pretty much nailed why I never picked up on casual chatting online, even. I locked down one group of people that I knew could be trusted, people that I had met, and went with them.

This is a HUGE problem. I think the first several months of a young gamers time out there on line (in that 8-12 range) needs to have parental supervision a little something like this: Listen to every word they hear, clarify the unacceptable and clear up why, and THEN if you start hearing those words, beat the little turd with a rolled up newspaper until he gets the idea. 300 vulgar respawns later, maybe they'll have figured out how to be civil.

This was an AWESOME post. Thank you!

Oh Adam Sessler. I miss him and Morgan Web... They took that channel from me, too... But he does bring up a valid point... people are just leaning towards being more and more vulgar, no matter what the medium...
