My tabby stray was a male and he was estimated at being somewhere around 12 years old. 12. That's ancient for a feral. And as my friends have said, here and elsewhere, his death will not be out in the elements, starving. His death will be in a loving, warm place, sourrounded by caring people. Not a bad way to go. Yeah, I really think that was it. He somehow knew I would do the right thing. The ones who really need help somehow find me. When i went to say goodbye, he was chillin' quietly and seemed to be okay with what was going on.
