Those are lovely. I really like the fragrance and don't see lilacs here in California very often.

This year, it bloomed like never before and it smelled wonderful.

Ah! I can almost smell them. We had a lilac bush in front of our house in Ohio when I was a little kid. Also a rose bush on the side of the house, which scared me when it was windy and scratched at the window when I was in the bathtub.

We have rose bushes on the side of our house too and they manage to snag me several times a year.
