My Pastor's son, who was serving in Afghanistan, is currently at Walter Read Army Medical Center because he was seriously injured. The top of his femur and the ball joint it joins to were badly damaged and he requires reconstructive surgery. I'm not sure of any more of the details. If you could spare some good thoughts or prayers for the Goodine

I hear you, N. I was also thinking about how Pastor must feel, serving God and yet, having this happen to his son. Nobody gets a pass, regardless of their works. It is times like these that faith is truly tested.
