28 years ago today I had my first date with that Irish guy, ;), and 13 years ago today we signed the papers on this wonderful house. Forget him? Not a snowball's chance in hell of that. :)
YMMV, but firsts without loved ones always seem to be hard. I know they were hard for me. I remember reading somewhere that the hardest part of losing loved ones is not being able to make new memories with them. May your 40 years of memories sustain you that day.
