I called the nurse twice to talk to her about the status of Mom's house and the aides and she never returned my calls. Probably has something to do with me being brusk with her the other day because she called while I was at work and I can't take calls. Still, the professional thing is to return phone calls.

I can't. She's my liason between the home aide agency and me and also the contact person for the Visiting Nurses of New York. Usually we deal with each other well but I hung up on her last week because she called me regarding complaints against my mother and I simply couldn't talk because I was at work. Then yesterday she was coming by just a Howard was coming to get me for lunch. She probably feels I'm avoiding her but honestly I wasn't. Sigh.
