The kittens are 11 days old now. Both of them are boys and have their eyes open now. One of them is trying to walk and the other is holding his head up pretty well. Bruiser weighs 324 grams and Striper weighs 303 grams

We had one for years, then it fell off the porch and got damaged and eventually died. It was quite an event when it bloomed. We would email friends and say "come by between 9 and 11 p.m. to see the flower."
I have a few actually. My dad was given one by our neighbor who had a few. Then my neighbor tired of them because they took up so much space and tried to give my dad 3 more but Dad did't have the room. So my neighbor put them out by the curb and I felt sorry or them so I took them. Then I inherited Dad's. Out of the four, only two have ever bloomed for me
On Sept 10, 2001, one of my plants bloomed for the first time for me. Liam set up his camera and took shots all night long. In the morning, he put the roll of film in his pocket to get developed after work. When I received his personal effects back when his body was recovered at the site, the roll of film was still there. Harry took it to the place wheee Liam had his film developed and told the man what had happened. He remembered Liam and carefully hand developed the film for us, free of charge. The photos were water damaged but they came out. One of those little gifts from beyond from Liam, or at least I'd like to think so.
My Queen of the Night was outside doing it's thing.
Right now, my greenhouse is a horror. If I ever find the freetime to work on it, I'll shoot a few pics. Most of my plants reside there except for some orchids and my African violets.
I'll have to get around to posting. I've been very negligent about taking kitten pics. It seems we have a little girl and a little boy. They are 3 weeks old now and just starting to walk. Striper is now Styper because, well, I'm a metalhead and looks to be female. Bruiser is still a bruiser but Stryper seems to have the edge when it comes to walking.
