Very Frustrating kitten day

So, two kittens are doing great. One kitten, despite my best efforts, may be slipping away. I can't get it to latch on, no matter what I use. I've managed to get a little of simplykimberly's kitten formula into it but only just a bit. It's sibling are much larger already or maybe it was a runt to begin with. True. Not much consolation, unfortunately. It hurts every time I lose one.

This.

He has to send them somewhere and he knows you're the best. Amongst other reasons why you're the best, is the fact that it hurts you when you lose one. If it didn't hurt, you wouldn't be caring enough to give them the love they need.

edited to add: They know you love them, and love you in return. Sometimes it's hard to feel their love under all the pain and confusion, especially when they're so tiny. But it's there.

Because they need you while they live - even if they don't live for very long.

Oh no! I'm still hoping for the little guy! I hate to lose them, too. It makes me crazy, and sometimes I wonder why I do it, and then I know why, and do it again. Hoping for good news in the morning, but I know how it goes, I really do. If the mama hasn't rejected him, and you're getting SOMETHING in him, it's hopefully not too late! (hugs)

No luck at all this morning. Like I said, he's been aspirating so I don't have much hope but I still have some. I am not giving up and will try again in a little bit.
