I desperately wanted to give the name Blue Car to my 1987 Honda Civic. Desperately! But my heart was broken into tiny pieces when I got the application for a custom license plate, and OMG, on the NY form the example used of a custom plate was, ta da, Blue Car. I never did decide on a different name.
