Easter bunnies and why it's a bad idea to buy one

Easter is just around the corner so I'm posting this article about the realities of owning a bunny. I've had several bunnies over the years. When I was a kid friends of my parents tried to 'surprise' us with chicks and bunnies. My parents intercepted that before we saw them. Although I was outraged as a child "why couldn't we at least have just SEEN them, Dad?" I know they did the right thing. I just hope those bunnies and chicks ended up somewhere good.

How does your rabbit get on with your cats? I can't imagine what my boys would think were I to bring a rabbit home.

My cats leave the bunny alone and my rabbit could care less about them. When we had a dwarf bunny named Hunny Bunny, my asshat cat, Frankie, would sleep in the hutch with her. They were best buds.
