I adore this one. If only I could find my own copy around here. So emotional. One of Lynch's most restrained but most beautiful. I'm so glad Mel Brooks thought to get him as director, as well as keep his own name from the promotion.
my father would quote this movie to me when i was younger, and i remember watching it with him at the age of 6 and sobbing over why no one would accept him; i didn't understand how society shuns people, and i still don't today. one of my favorite movies, though it is quite emotionally draining and taxing on me, even to this day.
