A great film and a superb Criterion disc, if you get the chance. All the other formats weren't widescreen and I was stunned by what was cut from the edges since I'd seen it on VHS so many times.
An interesting thing (to me!) is that the newspaper the guy is reading in the reaturant scene (Nude Au Pair headline) is the same paper that lands on the front steps in the earlier film 'Sunday, Bloody Sunday' and I've always wondered what the connection or significance was. Anybody got any ideas?
