i wish ken park had a bigger role. (haha) the guy with the racer bed was fun to watch. i felt uneasy watching all the sex scenes. they went on too long, i think.
this movie makes me think that larry clark is one of those directors that makes films for his own intentional purposes, rather than conveying a message. KIDS is a bad example of that statement, but for this one, it seemed more like a series of bizarre scenarios than your typical intro/climax/downfall movie.
i definitely agree about clark, i think that's what makes a lot of people hate him, but i like it. i thought this was better than kids for that exact reason - there's no overall message, really, just insights (sort of) into these people who are neither kids nor adults.
