I loved these books way too much to forgive how Disney mashed all five of them together. Key characters were omitted. Not cool, man.

That said, your choice of caps was good. The animation was cute, but the whole thing was so appallingly wrong... Damn Disney.

weird movie, but great books
BTW I'm re-reading Alexander's "The Chronicles of Prydain" now
and though I'm not a kid, the books look nice even for an adult

I loved Gurgi as a kid.

There are some nice things in the movie, but overall it seems to be lacking something. I can't put my finger on it.

And it was a very weird choice for Disney at the time. And went with a PG rating!

Well, those were the dark years after Walt Disney's death. The studio's golden era was already over and the animated features didn't fare too well so they tried everything in lack of a working formula.
