The best one of the series so far, and will actually probably still be the best of the series after the final sequels come out. Cuaron really made Columbus' first two installments look juvenile (though maybe that was the point... the first two books as source material were also less developed).

My favorite movie of the series so far, and probably always will be. Bring back Cuaron! His style is so gorgeous.

Also that horrifying jack-in-the-box was about a bajillion times scarier than the giant cobra was.

this is BY FAR the best one -- truest to the book, gorgeous shots, wonderful atmosphere. i rage every time i hear somebody say that this was the worst one.
