You are not alone. There are a couple story lines I like OK, but I couldn't stand most of it.

Yay! I just made a grumpy post on my own lj about this movie to test my theory that it's message is that true love can only happen if a the woman a guy is interested in is at least a decade or two younger than the guy and even better if she in some way works for him. And "love actually" is about lust and crushes but nothing at all approaching a sustainable actual love. Oh, here I am being grumpy again, sorry.

The entire movie should have been about Bill Nighly.
