2007 Golden Globes...

I considered 2006 to be pretty lackluster, as far as feature films are concerned, so my interest in the Globes was much lower than usual - that said, there were still a few highlights ( Read more... )

"Reds" was a little over-rated as well. I much prefer "Ragtime" for 1982 films that deal with the early 1900s. I LOVE the novel.

Wow, I must have stumbled onto one of the few NON-gaymen on my list.

Not a mention of Jennifer Hudson or Dreamgirls to be found... *rolls eyes*... and you actually liked that retarded Sacha Baron Cohen's speech? Yeech

Well at least you made me laugh about the other housewives dissing Teri. LOL

And my fave post-win interview disaster... was when Maria whats-her-face totally ignored America Ferrara coming up alongside her, and America was so zonked out from her win she wandered off in a mess of dissed confusion.

Maybe she just wasn't pretty enough to be noticed. Art imitated life. I LOVED that moment!

I'm sorry I disappointed my gay brethren (I AM an Honorary Gay after all). I like Jennifer Hudson, but her win was a non-surprise (though I should have mentioned it - it's just I don't want to be redundant in the Hudson love category), she deserved it, don't get me wrong - but still. Dude - the moment when Ferrara was ignored by the interviewer was EXACTLY what I was talking about as far as live-show snafus. It was freaking AWESOME. So brilliant. IDOL in FOUR HOURS EST (7 hours your time)!

It's ok, as long as talkshowgogoboy is around, JENNIFER HUDSON WILL NEVER BE OUT OF THE LIMELIGHT... as you can tell from MY review of the Globes... haha.

I just have never felt so, I dunno, personally INVESTED in anyone's award win before Hudson. I have petitioning for this girl since the earliest Idol days, so as this whole thing unfolds now for her... it's like seeing work that I myself have done come to life... I dunno it's weird. But I am just so freakin stoked for her! (And doubly so for the Beyonce double diss too, LMAO)

I hate Ryan Phillipe now too btw, but I hate Brangelina so so so much more!

And the America interview moment, I wished I had it on tape! It made me CRACK UP AGAIN even this morning watching it recapped on Mario Cantone's review on the View.
