GOD BLESS THIS MOVIE AND EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH IT. Ughhh, I just adore this film. Everything about it. It's Lucas' all-time fave film, and we're constantly quoting it to one another. There need to be more wholesomely witty action romances like this these days, dammit.

While I agree that I wish there was more of this type of film out there, I also think it's lightning in a bottle. Kind of like The Mummy, National Treasure, the first Pirates of the Carribbean movie... The sequels are just junk but the originals are magical. I would love to see more of this type of thing, but it's hard to strike that magic balance.
