I have to admit that Land of the Dead was one of Romero's most interesting and provocative zombie films, particularly because of the "twist" of having the zombies slowly regain their intellect and humanity, and in Big Daddy, we have a zombie who is (ironically) more human than the humans who hunt and kill his fellow zombies.

It would be interesting to see Romero bring this idea full circle and the zombies become a full-fledged new species of human, capable of intelligence and humanity, and as the zombies evolve further, how would the human react to a zombie who not only thinks and plans, but is also able to clearly articulate what he and his fellow zombies want from the humans who are so quick to destroy them.
