[OOC] Sum miscellanious stuff
I dunno, Kuchiha and Bonten did a post like this and I FIGURED WHY NOT. Most of it's probably headcanon. Some of it is probably based on a line or two I saw in canon. I will... add slowly to this list since things will probably change on me and whatnot and I haven't thought this through as thoroughly.
- Kon is a packrat. He likes to collect interesting things and books and all kinds of junk inventions and ends up never getting rid of them. Some of the stuff is also things he tried putting together himself. He's also horrible at organizing things, even though he knows where everything is, so all his stuff is a big messy pile.
- Well apparently no one at home misses him enough to come looking for him.
- He likes to cook! That should be obvious... He also likes to show off a little and explain what he's doing while he's cooking. I bet he enjoys having an audience. It's more of a natural pride thing than an asking for attention thing though. Once he's done he doesn't really brag about what he's made. Just eat it and enjoy, kay.
- Yes, let's mention Kon's oral fixation. He has one. Lollipops, cigarettes, smoking pipes, tooth picks, shish-kabob sticks, those flat sake cups, eyepatches (lolo)... If he's not talking he's likely got something in his mouth to play with... (Bets on if he can tie a cherry stem into a bow using his tongue go here.) As for non-canon related to this, I bet he likes hard candy more than chewy candy.

- He reads a lot. Mostly things related to Japanese history, and probably scholarly journals and that kind of thing. He's most interested in history and literature. With literature he's probably more widely read. He also read manga, of course.
- When he first got to Edo Kon was probably feeling pretty depressed and abandoned. Also, until I'm told otherwise, the first person Kon met after he was attacked by the Nue was that old nun lady. She was probably who he stayed with the first two weeks. During his stay there he blew up at her at least once from stress and panic and stormed out. He probably saw weird stuff while he was wandering around and decided it was time to go to the temple. Also he went back and apologized later.
- Kon and Kuchiha met when Kon went to the temple for help! She was probably the one that greeted him at the gate. Probably she was around when he described his attack to Shamon. Probably she accompanied him and Shamon to the site of the attack to look around. Probably while Shamon was busy investigating Kon found a chance to say just the wrong thing (possibly on purpose) and got himself kicked in the head. Thus a beautiful friendship was born.
- While at first it was annoying that a lot of things were inconvenient, Kon eventually got used to it and now considers it an interesting challenge to do what used to be convenient at home in terms of the Edo setting. He genuinely enjoys Edo more than modern Japan.
Amatsuki Yamitsuki Radio (for my own amusement)
Okay, so it starts off with Bonten introducing himself as "the most attractive man in Amatsuki, Bonten" and thanking everyone for coming to his talk show.
Kon jumps in with "What's this 'most attractive man in Amatsuki' thing?! And it's not a talkshow, either!"
Anyway, Bonten tries to convince Kon that he can do the show himself. Kon can go home and sleep, if he wants. Kon goes "THE ONE ALWAYS SLEEPING IS YOU!" But he interrupts himself by asking what the paper by Bonten is.
"Paper? Oh, it says 'to Bonten.' Looks like a letter. It's a pain, so you read it for me." Kon grumbles, but does-- it's from Toki, giving responsibility for the radio show to him. Because he's bad at explaining things, he says!
Bonten says they have no choice but to do it themselves. Kon complains, but then goes "well, what Toki says is true, so..." he says there's no helping it. "But we'll do it together just this once."
Bonten asks if Kon's being tsundere, and Kon explodes at him.
