Not the wiring. I suppose it could be something internal with WinXP that only affects Windows Media Player and InterVideo DVD. Let me check my actual DVD player.... Murfle. Not sure. Harder to tell with cheaper speakers.

Also try a different DVD and see if the speakers are swapped. Headphones are a good telltale also.

Congrats...I was already pretty sure I was going to get the DVD, but that just makes it better.

Dishonorable Mentions...hell, to me that was evil enough. Will have to see what I think of those who made it into the league.

Sorry you were rejected for the ELE, Tom. I'm going to wait to see if they're going to fix the sound problem (if there is one, it could be your player) and give myself a chance to pay down the holiday bills before buying it. But it is on my list of things to buy in the new year.
