And it's a doozy: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Theatrical edition (i.e., the extended edition won't synch with the RiffTrax). Due Nov. 22, just in time for Turkey Day.

Riffing on a good movie can be almost as much fun as riffing on a bad one. Les and I have done Casablanca, and all the Lemurs (me, Les, Anne, Tom, & Karen, ( Read more... )

Well, it's an old one by now, of course, but when Elrond says to Frodo, "Welcome to Rivendell," reply with, "(smith)...Mr. Baggins.(/smith) (mitzi)I LOVE your tunic!(/mitzi)"

Any Mr. Smith or V jokes are fair game any time Elrond is onscreen. On the other hand, I think we can only do one or two Goonies jokes with Sam before we'll be clawing at our eyes.

That's true, we do now have his performance from V for Vendetta to add to the mix. Thing is, V was a bit... loquacious to easily fit jokes on his dialogue into the spaces between lines in other movies. Worth a try, though.

Does anyone else see ork on screen and think Wizard of Oz? "Oh ee oh... we-oooo-oh."

"A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early."

It's from The Two Towers rather than Fellowship, but I'm a share anyway.

When the Ents charge Isengard en masse, yell "RUN, FOREST, RUN!"

Yes, I most definately see the Wicked Witch's guards in the orks. I think that I did that one in the theater the first time I saw the movie, it just came out naturally.
