Incredible sadness.

Not many people can be said to have changed the world, especially for the better. Nelson Mandela was one of them. Rest well, sir, and thank you.

I remember the day he became President, thinking to myself, "Today Satan ice-skates in Hell, because the man who's been in jail since I was a baby is the ruler of that nation."

And like MLK, he said plenty that pissed off the white folks who are now trying to whitewash his memory - he was pro-labor, anti-Iraq war, and called out American racism.
