The current Humble Bundle is a jaw-droppingly cool collection of eBooks by such luminaries as Neil Gaiman & Dave McKean, Cory Doctorow, Randall Munroe, and Wil Wheaton. The deluxe edition of The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle, Shards of Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold....

I don't have a tablet or ereader, how easy is it to read books on a computer monitor?

I'm also considering getting a tablet if I can find a good one at a reasonable price (yes, I'm giving exact qualifications lol). What's a good non-apple product?

Google Nexus 7. Best Android tablet on the market, starts at $199. The Wire Cutter agrees: http://thewirecutter.com/leaderboard/tablets/

I'm not so sure. The Galaxy Tab 2 is $30 cheaper. The CPU is not as powerful but it has a back mounted camera plus micro SD storage (neither of which Nexus has). But I will say the Nexus does have a quad core and a higher resolution. Wirecutter also seems to be a bit out of date.

ETA If the Nexus had a back mounted camera I would buy one RIGHT NOW. I saw some good deals on NewEgg. I want to be able to take video with my tablet and that's a deal breaker. :(

Apparently a new generation of N7 is coming out by the end of the month, which includes a back-facing camera...

Woot.com is a discount site with daily deals.

Shirt.woot.com is phenomenally good for t-shirts. Shirts are $12 on the first day, $15 till they need to reprint, then $18, and the art is in a wide variety of styles. I've found that the shirts hold up well.

Alas, I already own 5/6 of the books being offered. Admittedly, one I only have in dead-tree edition.
