... actually, this looks even BETTER. It looks like they took the good things about games one and three and made an alloy out of them. ... I admit to having a certain fondness for the fact that it looks like Heather/Cheryl/Sharon/whatsherface will actually have to save her dad, that's a nice reversal of the usual setup...

Now if only there wasn't a giant bleeding SPIDER in it...

Actually? I do SLIGHTLY better with scorpions than spiders, so knowing that, I may actually do better. So totally going to see it...

I think this looks remarkably like the third game (right down to the creepy old man/cop and the main girl Heather), actually...which is good, considering that's the only game that is a direct sequel to any of the others (tho you don't know it is until the end). The fact that they have Sean Bean in the trailer shows that he's back from the last movie...and if they keep the twist in from the third game for this, it'll make more sense as this being the sequel.

I'd love to see a movie based on the second game tho...

Also, bonus if on the eventual Blu-Ray/DVD release of this if they have an alternate "Heather Beam" ending...
