Did you know that Takei was in one of the Japanese-American internment camps as a child? It's in his book.

Also, he's such a nice guy. I had him autograph a picture for my best friend's first anniversary, and I asked him how his name is pronounced. He said, "Ta-kay like Okay." So sweet!

Thank you for the lead about "The Mechanisms". I just listened to their album (via bandcamp streaming) and its very good. I really need to get back to work (not tonight) on Roberta's CD that is releasing in a few weeks.
