Looks good! I always thought that animated-Batman had distinct advantages, and this looks like a good new take on the mythos.

I may have to break my usual rule and go to the theater to see it onscreen.

No no no. :) First thing is, it's direct-to-DVD. Second, it's (as far as I'm concerned) the definitive Batman origin, written by Frank Miller and drawn by David Mazzucchelli. Fortunately easy to track down.

If it's not Kevin Conroy doing the voice, it's not worth seeing. :)

Wow. I could recognise the various scenes the clips were from, this should be incredible.

I agree with you that this is THE origin story.
