I'm finally over the 18-Hours-Spent-On-Planes Cold, and am now attempting not to catch what's going around the office. Snow for tonight and all of tomorrow, a bank screw-up to iron out, and co-workers deciding not to show up to work without any calls or explanations.
It's gonna be one of those days.
I hope you get to feeling better, though...try some Russian Tea. Equal parts Tang and Lemon Lipton Tea mix in hot water...not sure about the medicinal value, but it sure is yummy!
Getting used to the new job and new commute. At least with the shorter work day the total time spent for working is less than other jobs in Chicago's loop. Now if I can just get them to let me out 10 minutes early to catch the express train home...
Smooth going this week. Pleased with the modifications I made last night to last week's soup. Friday morning I have a doctor's appointment (follow-up stuff), and Saturday I'm dropping off stuff at the local thrift shop and visiting a friend in relation to the craft challenge meme I did on Facebook (also did it here on LJ, but didn't get anyone who wanted to play, darn it).
