Winter

Nov 03, 2009 11:45

Tomorrow's forecast for Ann Arbor includes rain and snow showers.

I ain't ready.

I mean, I can handle it. Shovel's on the porch, space heaters and comforters are accessible, non-sandal shoes have been Febrezed within an inch of their lives. I'm just... not ready for it to be winter yet.

How about you?

I'm totally not ready for it to be winter. Especially here in the FedroSplat, where what we generally get is a half-assed attempt that is worse to deal with than real winter.

I'm looking at Accuweather, and they're saying a little bit of rain for an hour maybe, but temps around 45, maybe some more rain Wed night but temps around 36. Thursday night it'll clear out and be cold but dry.

All I need to do is to get some spring flower bulbs planted, and get the studded tires on my bike.

A Republican I know once told me that Accuweather has a liberal bias. So be careful when using it.

This is in Dexter, BTW. We're only 10 miles away; I'm not sure I believe snow on Wednesday for AA.

I'm hoping it's wrong myself. The quote at weather.com for zip code 48103 is: "Rain and snow showers in the morning changing to rain showers in the afternoon. High near 45F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 60%." On the other hand, Weather Underground just says rain for tomorrow.
