It was very hard to write all of Rodney's awkward behaviors from Rodney's PoV, so I'm glad to hear that it worked.

Yeah, once treewishes put the image of the bit in my head, my annoying brain started down the road of, "Okay. Assume Sheppard is into this. Why?" Once I had that, I knew there was no way Sheppard could ever, ever talk about it.

I'll admit I wasn't entirely sure about reading this, because I don't see that particular kink as John's. I still don't quite see it, but the way you write it both works and makes sense. So thank you for an unusual reading experience.

I'll take unusual. See the comment above, in that once I had the image, I had to figure out how to make this make sense for John Sheppard. (I, er, wouldn't quite buy it, either, but the weird thing is that once I had it, the story pretty much wrote itself.)
