When your question/argument begins:
*Why don't Liberals understand that Americans...*
that's where I stopped listening to you

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times.

I hear the latter exchange in my head all the time these days.

Oh dear... I absolutely agree with you, I'd stop listening there, too.

Really. I just spent a year where far too many of my doctors talked over me like I wasn't there. Now I find out I'm a non-person in my country because I care about what happens to other people.

Because liberals somehow aren't Americans? Sheesh, they're trying to take that away from us, too.

Quotation says it all. I still keep thinking I will wake up - must be so much worse to be an American.

Damn that must be horribly frustrating!

Though it occurs to me that we could have had better slogans, like "Obamacare = Affordable Care Act" and "Where the fuck is Donald's tax return?". And thump the New York Times for their shitty front pages. And put ad money and support Democratic candidates more, every state. And recognize that many white people feel left behind, and they're not used to that. We should have had a mandate instead of just 3 million more votes in the wrong places. Fuuuuck.
