I wanted to update you guys on how I'm doing, but I've been debating how much I want to have posts about it loose on the internet. Certainly, I feel more secure about posts here than over on F*book, even though most of my actual family is there (the only reason I put up with it

I am so pleased to hear that things are, mostly, going well. I feel for you and the attempts to get blood; I have the same problem. Even the phlebotomists have trouble with me sometimes.

It was so bad that in the hospital they resorted to using the veins in my foot - I don't recommend that!

Oh yes - been there, too - really not pleasant. Fortunately a couple of the phlebotomists at our blood clinic have the right touch for me and can usually get a vein in my arm within a couple of tries.

Feel better! They have trouble with my veins too. NO fun. I hope the second problem improves quickly.
