Thanks for the link! Particularly interested by his point that actors can bring to directing all their varied experience of having been directed in lots of different ways. (Though presumably most directors don't just start directing from cold - haven't lots of them worked in production, or on film sets in other capacities, and therefore seen direction taking place? But I suppose that's different from the actor's perspective...)
