My FarmVille farm is afflicted with the glitch that makes my sheep pen grow to an enormous size. Whenever it does this, I find myself thinking ( Read more... )

Oh ghods, I love that book.

(here 'cause I'm doing the friendsfriends thing, taking a break from stuff I should be doing.)

(I... have a love/hate thing with Facebook, more hate than love, and I've blocked all the apps like Farmville, but your post, your reaction, has justified its existence. *wry grin*)

At least it isn't Mother Hitton’s Littul Kittons....

*shudder*cringe*

Indeed.

Mine does that sometimes! at the moment, Farmville won't let me play as it tells me to refresh every time I load it,again and again!

Farmville can be such a pain in the butt. In our family, I am usually the one who gets singled out - the first time there was a big Farm outage, I had no access for over a week (my farm simply would not load) But every one else here for the weekend was fine, so I got to watch 4 other people play while I was just screwed.

And the only thing LESS helpful than Zynga is facebook....

I think I may need to make a farmville icon - I never expected to make so many posta that mention it!

Alan posted theses to my facebook, but I don't want them to disappear forever, so I am pasting them here:

Al Katerinsky Or...
"Here is the place the Priest went mad,
And over there my mother burned.
I cannot show you the house we had,
We lost it when the mountain turned."

Thank you for giving me the chance to remember the cool, offhanded horror implied in Norstrilia's past. This was from memory, and I think the hell-planet they were describing was ironically called Paradise IV.

Al Katerinsky I misquoted a little bit. The last line actually is
"We lost that slope where the mountain turned"
And the planet is Paradise VII not IV.
The novel is available online in a few forms at http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=212099
